About the Concor Bursary Programme 2026/2027
Fields Covered

Concor invites eligible students to apply for their 2026 bursary programme, designed to develop and retain skilled talent aligned with the company’s future workforce needs.

Bursaries are available for undergraduate Degree or National Diploma studies in the following fields:

  • Mining Engineering
  • Quantity Surveying

Since launching in 2011, more than 90 students have completed their studies through the Concor bursary and many have been successfully absorbed into the company thereafter.

Bursary Coverage & Additional Opportunities

The Concor Bursary Programme provides full coverage for tuition fees.

In addition to funding, recipients may benefit from:

Practical on-site training

Students may receive structured workplace exposure through training programmes for trainee engineers and quantity surveyors, helping them understand real-world infrastructure development.

Intern Development Programme

All recipients will be required to join the Concor Intern Development Programme from February 2025 for a period of 24 months, offering mentorship, skills development, and industry integration.

Eligibility Requirements for Concor Bursary Application 2026/2027

To qualify for the Concor Bursary 2026, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must be under 30 years old
  • Must be studying full-time toward an undergraduate qualification in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or Quantity Surveying
  • Must be enrolled at a recognised South African University or University of Technology

  • Must be entering final year of study in 2026
  • Must not be receiving any other bursary or financial sponsorship
