Eligibility Requirements for SASAS Bursary Application 2026/2027
Applicants must meet all of the following criteria:
- You may be of any nationality
- You must have completed one of the following:

- BSc (Agric.) in Animal Science
- BSc (Agric.) in Animal Production
- Advanced Diploma in Animal Production (NQF 8)
- You must have graduated from a recognised and accredited University or University of Technology in South Africa
- You must be a registered member of SASAS
- You must be registered to study:
- Honours or Masters degree at a University, or
- MTech or DTech at a University of Technology
- You must have achieved an exceptional academic record (cum laude)
- You must be able to complete:
- Honours or MTech within 2 years, or
- Masters or DTech within 3 years
- You must read and agree to the SASAS Bursary Rules 2026
Failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in your application being disqualified.
