The Association for Communication and Advertising (ACA) is South Africa’s official body representing the advertising and communications industry. It is a voluntary, member-driven organisation created by professionals to serve professionals in the field.

About The Bursary Programme 2026/2027

The ACA has a long history of supporting disadvantaged students through bursary programmes. In honour of his late grandmother, Abey Mokgwatsane has launched the Nnete Modise Bursary, which will be administered by the ACA.
This bursary offers full financial support for students pursuing a Marketing Degree at the AAA School of Advertising (Cape Town or Johannesburg campus). It will cover all tuition fees for the duration of the qualification, as well as accommodation expenses.
Eligibility Requirements for Abey Mokgwatsane & ACA Bursary Application 2026/2027
To apply, applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Must be female
- Must be Black
- Must be driven and dedicated
- Must live outside South Africa’s main commercial centres
- Must be unable to afford tertiary education costs
