Must be a South African citizen
Must be female
Must be Black (African, Coloured, or Indian, as defined by BBBEE codes)
Must be studying in Chemistry, Engineering, or Sciences
Must be registered at a recognised and accredited University or University of Technology in South Africa
Must have completed the 1st year of study and be entering the 2nd year or higher in 2026
Must demonstrate financial need and meet NSFAS funding criteria
Must have a strong academic record
Must not have a criminal record in any country
Must not be receiving any other bursary, scholarship, or financial aid (except NSFAS)

Failure to meet even one of these requirements will result in disqualification.
