Investec is inviting applications for its Tech Scholarship Programme for the 2026 academic year.
Scholarships will be awarded for Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies (up to Honours level) in technology-related fields, specifically in the following degrees:
- Business Computing (BSc / BS)
- Computer Engineering (BSc / BS)
- Computer Science (BSc / BS / BBusSc)
- Data Science (BBusSc)
- Informatics (BCom)
- Information Systems (BBusSc / BCom)
- And other equivalent Technology or Engineering qualifications
Selection & Opportunities
The scholarship is aimed at exceptional students who are high achievers and innovative thinkers. Importantly, financial need is not a selection criterion.

Eligibility Requirements for Investec Scholarship Application 2026/2027
Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria (failure to do so will result in disqualification):
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must have completed Matric

- Must be entering 2nd year up to Honours or final year in 2026
- Must be registered at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
