Investec is inviting applications for its Tech Scholarship Programme for the 2026 academic year.

Scholarships will be awarded for Undergraduate and Postgraduate studies (up to Honours level) in technology-related fields, specifically in the following degrees:

  • Business Computing (BSc / BS)
  • Computer Engineering (BSc / BS)
  • Computer Science (BSc / BS / BBusSc)
  • Data Science (BBusSc)
  • Informatics (BCom)
  • Information Systems (BBusSc / BCom)
  • And other equivalent Technology or Engineering qualifications

Eligibility Requirements for Investec Scholarship Application 2026/2027

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria (failure to do so will result in disqualification):

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must have completed Matric
  • Must be studying towards a Technology-related degree (see list above)
  • Must be entering 2nd year up to Honours or final year in 2026
  • Must be registered at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
  • Must be a top-performing student
