Eligibility Requirements for Keaton Energy Mining Bursaries Application 2026/2027

To qualify for the Keaton Energy bursary, applicants must meet the following criteria:

General Requirements:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must be pursuing full-time studies in an approved field at a recognized university or institute of technology

University of Technology Students:

  • Currently in Matric OR completed Matric with:
    • Minimum Level 4 in Mathematics and Physical Science, OR
    • HG D / SG C in Mathematics and Physical Science
  • In possession of a Medical Certificate of Fitness or fit enough to acquire one

University Students (Degree):

  • Currently in Matric OR completed a Bachelors pass in Matric
  • Age 21 or younger for first-year students; 23 or younger for second-year students

Failure to meet these requirements will result in the application being disqualified.
