About KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission

The KwaZulu-Natal Tourism Authority (TKZN) and the KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission (KZNFC) have merged to form the KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Film Authority.

Bursaries are available for students living in KwaZulu-Natal, studying at public tertiary institutions within KZN, in the following fields:

Note: Acting studies are not funded.

Eligibility Requirements for KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission Bursary Application 2026/2027

  • Be a resident of KwaZulu-Natal
  • Have completed Matric or be in your final year (Matric 2026)
