Eligibility Requirements for Moshal Scholarship Program Application 2026/2027
To apply, you must:
- Be in Matric or have completed Matric
- Plan to study towards a degree in one of the listed fields in 2026
- Be accepted (or intend to study) at one of these universities:

- University of Johannesburg (UJ)
- University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN)
- University of Pretoria (UP)
- University of the Western Cape (UWC)
- University of the Witwatersrand (WITS)
- Achieve at least 70% in English, Mathematics, Physical Science and/or Accounting
- Be in financial need (household income not more than R200,000 per year, before deductions)

- Passport and study visa (if not a South African citizen)
- Parents/guardians ID copies
- Signed Declaration/Consent form (if under 18)
- Proof of social grants OR parents/guardians 3 months’ bank statements (all accounts) OR affidavit if no bank account exists
- Grade 11 November results
