Eligibility Requirements Mukuru Bursary Application 2026/2027

Before applying, applicants must meet the following minimum entry criteria:

  • Must have completed Matric with a Bachelor’s Pass.

  • Must be studying full-time towards an undergraduate qualification in one of the fields listed above.
  • Must be in 1st, 2nd, or 3rd year of study in 2026.
  • Must have achieved a minimum average of 65% at tertiary level.
  • Must be registered at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa (University or University of Technology).
  • Must demonstrate financial need.
  • Must not be employed by Mukuru.
  • Must agree to the Mukuru Education Fund Bursary Terms and Conditions.
