Eligibility Requirements for Mulilo Bursary Application 2026/2027

Applicants must meet all of the following minimum requirements to be considered:

  • Must be a South African citizen
  • Must be 35 years old or younger
  • Must permanently reside in the Northern Cape Province, within one of the following municipalities:
    • Emthanjeni
    • Renosterberg
    • Siyathemba
  • Must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
  • Must be studying or intending to study towards an Undergraduate, Postgraduate, or Distance Learning qualification
  • Must be studying or have applied to study at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa (University, Technikon, or TVET College)
  • Must have a total combined household income not exceeding R180 000 per annum (R15 000 per month)

Failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in disqualification.
