About the MultiChoice Bursary Programme 2026/2027

What the MultiChoice Bursary Covers
The MultiChoice Bursary covers one full academic year of study, including tuition fees and other approved expenses. However, it does not cover any previous or outstanding student debt.

Eligibility Criteria for MultiChoice Bursary Application 2026/2027
Before applying, applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be currently in Matric (2026) or have completed Matric
- Must be studying or planning to study full-time towards a degree qualification in one of the approved fields
- Must be a first-time undergraduate or postgraduate (Honours or Masters) student
- Must have achieved a minimum average of 75% in Matric
- Must have achieved at least 65% average if currently studying
- Must be enrolled or accepted at a recognised South African university
