About Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund

The Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund was established in 1995 by Nelson Mandela to improve healthcare access for children in South Africa. In 2009, the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital Trust (NMCHT) was created to build a world-class children’s hospital. Construction began in 2014, and by 2016, the Nelson Mandela Children’s Hospital (NMCH) opened its doors.

About The Bursary
