Eligibility Requirements for Proxa Water Bursary Application 2026/2027
Applicants must meet all of the following minimum criteria to be considered (failure to meet any requirement may result in disqualification):
- Must be a South African citizen, born in South Africa
- Must be between 17 and 25 years old
- Must be classified as a Previously Disadvantaged Individual (PDI)
- Must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric
- Must have passed Pure Mathematics (Mathematics Literacy will not be accepted) and Physical Science
- Must have achieved a minimum overall average of 75% in Matric
- Must be studying or intending to study full-time in one of the approved fields
- Must be studying at, applying to, or registered with an accredited tertiary institution in South Africa
- If already studying at tertiary level, must have achieved a minimum overall average of 65% in the previous academic year
