To qualify for the Reatile Foundation Trust Bursary 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Must be a South African citizen
Must be Black, as defined by the BEE Act
Must have completed Matric
Must be registered at the University of Johannesburg (UJ)
Must be studying full-time in one of the approved fields
Must be entering 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study in 2026
Must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 65% in 2024
Must be in financial need
Combined household gross income must not exceed R30 000 per month
Must not have any other bursary or third-party financial sponsorship
Must demonstrate leadership qualities and a desire to create positive change
