In partnership with the University of Johannesburg (UJ), the Reatile Foundation Trust invites students to apply for the 2026 bursary programme.

Bursary Coverage & Selection Process

To qualify for the Reatile Foundation Trust Bursary 2026, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be Black, as defined by the BEE Act
- Must have completed Matric
- Must be registered at the University of Johannesburg (UJ)
- Must be studying full-time in one of the approved fields
- Must be entering 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study in 2026
- Must have achieved a minimum aggregate of 65% in 2024
- Must be in financial need
- Combined household gross income must not exceed R30 000 per month
- Must not have any other bursary or third-party financial sponsorship
- Must demonstrate leadership qualities and a desire to create positive change
