About YouthED & CTU Training Solutions
YouthED is a non-profit organisation founded in 2022 to support South African learners who aspire to gain critical skills and qualifications. The organisation focuses on funding education initiatives that make quality learning accessible to motivated and deserving students.
CTU Training Solutions, established in 1987, is a registered private college under the Department of Higher Education and Training. With 11 campuses nationwide, including in Bloemfontein, Cape Town, Durban, Pretoria, Roodepoort, Stellenbosch, and Gqeberha. CTU offers a wide range of qualifications across IT, Business, Design, Engineering, and Humanities. Students can study full-time or part-time depending on their needs.
About the YouthED/ CTU Bursary Programme 2026/2027
Fields Covered
YouthED, in collaboration with CTU Training Solutions, invites ambitious students to apply for the 2026 YouthED & CTU Bursary Programme.
The bursary supports studies within CTU’s IT Faculty, specifically for the following qualifications:
- IT Networking & Design Administration Diploma
- IT Technical Support
- Web UI Design
A total of 300 partial bursaries are available. 100 for each of the listed programmes.
Bursary Value and Terms
Successful applicants will receive partial funding worth up to R20 000, which will go toward tuition fees.
However, please note the following terms and conditions:
- The bursary cannot be exchanged for cash.
- It does not cover accommodation, registration fees, devices, software, or international certification costs.
- Students must have their own devices for online learning.
- Recipients must attend classes regularly. Less than 80% attendance will result in forfeiture.
- Each applicant may apply for only one bursary and must follow CTU’s standard registration process.
Eligibility Requirements for YouthEd/ CTU Bursary Application 2026/2027
Before applying, ensure that you meet these minimum criteria:
- You must be a South African citizen.
- You must be interested in studying toward one of the listed IT qualifications at CTU.
- You must be able to start studying in February 2026.
- You must be entering your first year of full-time studies.
- You must meet the minimum admission requirements of your chosen qualification (see the CTU Prospectus for details).
