About the iStudent Academy Bursary Programme 2026/2027

The iStudent Academy Bursary Competition 2026 offers talented and ambitious students a chance to receive 50% off their full study fees for select qualifications.

The bursary is available for Full Contact studies at any of the academy’s four campuses, located in Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Johannesburg, and Cape Town.

Bursaries will be awarded for SAQA-accredited and internationally recognised qualifications, including:

1-Year Qualifications (NQF Level 5):

CAD Draughtsman (Autodesk Certified User)
Computer Technician (Microsoft Certified Networking)
Software Developer (Microsoft Certified Programming)

2-Year Qualifications (NQF Level 5 & 6):

Graphic Design (Adobe Certified Associate)
Software Engineering (Microsoft Certified Programming)

3-Year Qualification (NQF Level 6):

IT Engineering (Microsoft Certified Programming, Networking, and Cisco Certified Network Associate)

Coverage Value and Study Locations

The bursary covers 50% of tuition fees for the chosen qualification.
Recipients are responsible for other study-related expenses such as accommodation, meals, transport, and stationery.

A total of 16 bursaries will be awarded in 2026, 4 bursaries per campus at Durban, Pietermaritzburg, Johannesburg, and Cape Town.

Terms & Conditions of the Bursary

Applicants must meet all entry requirements and apply before the closing date.
Successful applicants must pay the reduced registration fee within 60 days of acceptance.

Bursary winners will be announced on 30 November 2026.
Recipients must agree to be interviewed and photographed for iStudent Academy’s promotional materials.
Final decisions rest with the bursary selection panel.
