About uMngeni-uThukela Water

Established in 1974, uMngeni-uThukela Water (formerly known as Umgeni Water) is a state-owned enterprise (SOE) that supplies bulk potable water and related services to the KwaZulu-Natal province. The utility serves over 21 000 square kilometres, making it South Africa’s second-largest Water Board and the leading supplier of bulk water in KZN.
