About WIPHOLD (Women Investment Portfolio Holdings)

WIPHOLD (Women Investment Portfolio Holdings) is a proudly Black women-owned investment company, established in 1994 by three pioneering African women. The company focuses on building strategic investments in key sectors such as Infrastructure, Agriculture, Financial Services, Mining, and Energy.

About the WIPHOLD Bursary Programme 2026/2027 – Fields Covered

WIPHOLD is inviting eligible students to apply for their 2026 bursary programme.

The bursary supports studies in the following fields:

  • Agriculture

  • Engineering

Who Can Apply

To be considered, applicants must:

  • Be a South African citizen
  • Be currently in Matric or have already completed Matric
  • Plan to study in one of the listed fields
  • Be committed to becoming a Chartered Accountant, Actuary, Engineer, or Agriculturist
  • Have achieved at least:
    • 70% for Mathematics (not Maths Literacy)
    • 70% for English
    • An overall A or B average (C averages may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
  • Have applied to at least 2 universities (one must be the closest to your home)
