Eligibility Requirements for Black Management Forum Bursary Application 2026/2027

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria to be considered (failure to do so will result in disqualification):

  • Must be in Matric in 2026
  • Must plan to study in one of the listed fields in 2026
  • Must have been accepted to study at a recognised tertiary institution in 2026
  • Must have achieved a minimum average of 70% in Matric (excluding Life Orientation and a second language)
  • Must demonstrate financial need
  • Must live in one of the following areas:

    • Free State: Mangaung, Thabo Mofutsanyana
    • Gauteng: Ekurhuleni, Johannesburg, Sedibeng, Tshwane

    • Limpopo: Capricorn, Mopani, Sekhukhune, Vhembe
    • Mpumalanga: Bushbuckridge, KwaMhlanga, Mbombela
    • North West: Bojanala, Madibeng, Mmakau
    • Northern Cape: Frances Baard, John Taolo
    • Western Cape: Khayelitsha, Mitchells Plain
