The Pop-Kultur Festival is an annual international event held in Berlin, Germany. It features:

The Goethe Talents Scholarship is a 12-day programme (22 August – 2 September 2026) for aspiring musicians, composers, singer-songwriters, and instrumentalists from developing and transitioning countries (including South Africa).

Eligibility Requirements for Goethe Talents Scholarship Application 2026/2027

To apply, you must:

  • Be from a DAC-listed country (Africa, Latin America, or specific Asian countries)
  • Be 20–30 years old
  • Be a musician, composer, singer-songwriter, or instrumentalist (any instrument or genre)
  • Aim to work professionally in music and expand your network
  • Be willing to share your experiences in group settings
  • Have at least 3 completed music projects as proof of experience
  • Have advanced English skills (B2 level or higher – free online test available)
  • Agree to the terms of the scholarship
