Eligibility Requirements for SACCCS Bursary Application 2026/2027

Applicants must meet all of the following minimum criteria to be considered:

Must be a South African citizen
Must be studying or intending to study towards a Civil Engineering (BEng, BSc, or postgraduate) qualification
Must be studying or registered to study at a recognised South African university
Preference is given to students who have:
- Completed their first year of study, or
- Are registered for 2nd, 3rd, 4th year or postgraduate studies
First-year students may be considered only with strong motivation
Matric students must have achieved at least 70% in:
- Mathematics
- Physical Science
- English
  and must be registered at a recognised university
Must not have failed any modules in the current academic year
Must demonstrate proven financial need
Must not be receiving any other bursary or financial assistance
Preference is given to previously disadvantaged students

Failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in disqualification.
