Eligibility Requirements for SACCCS Bursary Application 2026/2027
Applicants must meet all of the following minimum criteria to be considered:
- Must be a South African citizen
- Must be studying or intending to study towards a Civil Engineering (BEng, BSc, or postgraduate) qualification
- Must be studying or registered to study at a recognised South African university
- Preference is given to students who have:

- Completed their first year of study, or
- Are registered for 2nd, 3rd, 4th year or postgraduate studies
- First-year students may be considered only with strong motivation
- Matric students must have achieved at least 70% in:
- Mathematics
- Physical Science
- English
and must be registered at a recognised university
- Must not have failed any modules in the current academic year
- Must demonstrate proven financial need
- Must not be receiving any other bursary or financial assistance
- Preference is given to previously disadvantaged students
Failure to meet any of the above requirements will result in disqualification.
