About Paul Mthimunye Bursary Fund

The Paul Mthimunye Bursary Fund was established to support financially needy but academically deserving students within the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality in Mpumalanga. Since its inception in 2005, the fund has helped more than 200 high school learners and over 100 tertiary students to continue their education.

The initiative is supported by community members, the private sector, the Mpumalanga Provincial Education Department, and the Steve Tshwete Local Municipality. Some of the key donors include Eskom, ABSA, Multichoice, BHP Billiton, and Shanduka Coal.
