Selection process:
Shortlisted candidates will take part in a panel interview, a technical ability assessment, and psychometric assessments. If applicants do not receive feedback, they should consider their application unsuccessful.
Eligibility Requirements for Cenfri Bursary Application 2026/2027
Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Be a South African citizen.
- Be entering the final year of a Masters-level qualification in Economics or a related field in 2026.
- Show a strong interest in research-related activities and development.
- Have achieved a minimum GPA of 65% or higher in the most recent academic year.
- Be an Employment Equity candidate.
- Be in genuine financial need.
- Have strong writing, presentation, interpersonal, quantitative, and analytical skills.

- Be able to work both independently and in a team.
- Knowledge of Stata and the ability to analyze household survey data will be an added advantage.
